The first editorial board meeting of 2026 for the Journal of Bartin Faculty of Forestry was held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

During the meeting, the current status of the journal was comprehensively evaluated, and the publication processes were reviewed in detail. Necessary revisions were made in line with feedback received regarding previous issues; improvement proposals concerning author guidelines, peer-review procedures, and the publication workflow were discussed. Several decisions were taken to enhance the journal’s academic quality standards and to ensure that publication processes are carried out more effectively and sustainably.

In addition, the 2026 publication schedule, measures to accelerate submission and review processes, and strategies aimed at increasing visibility in national and international indexes were addressed. The editorial board emphasized its commitment to maintaining quality, transparency, and continuity in scientific publishing.
