The panel titled “Career in Forest Engineering”, organized at the Faculty of Forestry, was held with strong participation from students. The event, which started at 13:30 on April 21, 2026, brought together experienced professionals from the sector with students, where they shared their professional experiences.

The panel was moderated by Prof. Dr. Azize Toper Kaygın, and the speakers included Alaattin Tuncay, Osman Gölge, and Tuğba Öztürk. The participants provided valuable insights into career opportunities in forestry, employment possibilities in both public and private sectors, and professional development processes.

Alaattin Tuncay and Osman Gölge, who serve as forest district chiefs at the Aladağ Forest Enterprise Directorate, shared their field experiences and explained the working dynamics of the public sector to the students. Tuğba Öztürk, the founder of Yiğit-Mert Forestry Office, offered important evaluations on entrepreneurship and career opportunities in the private sector.

Throughout the panel, students had the opportunity to ask their questions to the speakers, enabling an interactive exchange of information. The event proved to be highly beneficial in guiding students in their career planning.

The program concluded with expressions of gratitude to the speakers and a commemorative group photo.
