Foreign Language Exemption Exams
2024-2025 Academic Year YDİ 101- Foreign Language English I and YDİ 102- Foreign Language English II courses exemption exams will be held face-to-face on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 13:30 . Students who will take the course for the first time and students who have taken the course before and failed can take the exams. Students who have taken the course for promotion cannot take the exemption exams. Even if these students take the exams, their exams will be considered INVALID.
The exemption exam for YDİ 101 Foreign Language English I and YDİ 102 Foreign Language English II courses consists of two parts, each with 20 multiple choice questions . There are 40 questions in total. Questions 1 to 20 belong to the FIRST TERM course Foreign Language English I (YDİ 101), and questions 21 to 40 belong to the SECOND TERM course Foreign Language English II (YDİ 102). The exam duration is 50 minutes. Evaluations are separate for each part and are independent of each other.
Taking exemption exams is optional. There is no obligation to participate in the exams. Students who want to be exempt from courses can take the exams. Students who want to take the exams must apply to their units.
The list of students who will be considered "exempt" because of the evaluations to be made after the completion of the exams will be announced on our faculty’s website.
