Bartın Forestry Faculty Orientation Training was Held.

In the 2024-2025 Academic Year, our faculty organized orientation training for the first-year students of the Department of Forestry Engineering and Department of Forestry Engineering. The event was attended by our faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Birsen DURKAYA, unit and department managers, academic staff and students. The orientation training was organized to help our new students adapt to university life more easily, to provide information about the department and to introduce academic processes. During the training, detailed information was provided about the physical and social structure of our university and faculty, educational programs, student rights and responsibilities, double major, minor, student exchange programs, legislation regarding students, academic counseling and support services, and social and cultural activities. Following the orientation program, our faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Birsen DURKAYA presented “CONGRATULATIONS” certificates to our students who were placed in the top three in our departments and “THANK YOU” certificates to our students who preferred our faculty departments in the first place. Dean DURKAYA emphasized in his speech that the experiences that students will gain during this process are important for their academic and personal development. He gave the message that they will support the students in this training organized to ensure that our new students have a good start to their university life. As Bartın Forestry Faculty, we wish all our new first-year students’ success in their education and teaching lives.

  • On November 11th National Afforestation Day, Saplings Met with the Soil with the Slogan “Breath for the Future, Breath for Humanity”

  • Smart and Sustainable Forestry Workshop Organized in Our Faculty

  • TÜBİTAK 2209-A Celebration Event was Held in Our Faculty.

  • With the project of Bartın University (BARU) supported by TÜBİTAK, the husk material that emerges after the harvest of hazelnuts will be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.

  • A training was organized in our faculty within the scope of “TÜBİTAK 2209-A–B- University Students Research Projects Support Program”.

  • Bartın Forestry Faculty Orientation Training was Held.

  • The faculty members and students of our faculty attended ‘’SOSYALFEST’’ (International Social Sciences Festival)

  • The Academic Council Meeting of Our Faculty for the 2023-2024 Academic Year was held.
