Deans Of Forestry Facultıes Gathered In Antalya.

 

Our Faculty's Vice Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şahin PALTA, along with the Deans and Vice Deans of Forestry Faculties, came together at a significant meeting held in Antalya. The meeting, attended by the General Director of Forestry, Mr. Bekir KARACABEY, Deputy General Director of Forestry, Mr. İbrahim YÜZER, and Antalya Regional Director of Forestry, Mr. Kemal KAYIRAN, evaluated forestry education and sectoral developments.

 

During the meeting, information was shared about the teaching activities and academic studies within each faculty. Important topics such as unifying the curricula of Forestry Faculties in Turkey under a common minimum standard, the 7+1 workplace practice, MÜDEK accreditation, joint projects, and the employment of forestry faculty students as temporary workers during the summer months were discussed.

 

Mr. Bekir KARACABEY, the General Director of Forestry, emphasized the importance of the meeting and expressed his great honor in hosting the Deans of Forestry Faculties at the Antalya Regional Directorate of Forestry. He also stated that they would provide feedback as soon as possible regarding the necessary updates to the curricula of Forestry Faculties in line with the needs of the sector.
