Our Faculty Students were Congratulated with TUBITAK 2209 University Students Research Projects Success Appreciation Certificates.

An event was organized for the students of our faculty who were deemed worthy of support within the scope of TUBITAK 2209 University Students Research Projects. The event, which took place with intense participation, was attended by our faculty students and faculty members. During the event, Appreciation Certificates were given to the student project leaders by their project advisors.

 

Within the framework of TUBITAK-2209 University Students Research Projects, a total of 34 projects were deemed worthy of support, including 12 projects in the first semester of 2022, 7 projects in the second semester of 2022, and 15 projects in the first semester of 2023, all led by students from our faculty.

 

Our Dean, Prof. Dr. Birsen DURKAYA, said, "I congratulate all our students and faculty members who contributed, and wish for the continuation of our success. With this event, we awarded Appreciation Certificates to 34 students. In our first event, we awarded Appreciation Certificates to 30 students. Thus, we have awarded Appreciation Certificates to a total of 64 students so far. There are also 26 applications from our students for the second semester of 2023. This situation indicates that the culture of writing projects is spreading and becoming more widespread among both our students and faculty members with each passing day, and that the process is being carried out sustainably. I express my gratitude to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Orhan UZUN, who has always supported us."

 

The students whose projects were supported expressed their satisfaction with the event, while those who did not have projects yet stated that the event was encouraging for them. After the event, food and beverages were served to our students and faculty members.

  • As part of the courses Dendrometry and Principles of Forest Management in our Department of Forestry Engineering, field applications were conducted.
