The faculty members and students of our faculty attended ‘’SOSYALFEST’’ (International Social Sciences Festival)

The faculty members and students of Bartın University Faculty of Forestry, Department of Forestry Engineering and Department of Forest Industrial Engineering, participated in Turkey's First National and International Social Sciences Festival (SOSYALFEST), which was hosted by Karabük University on March 2-3, 2024. They visited the stands prepared by the students of Karabük University Faculty of Forestry and received information about their projects. Additionally, the students exchanged ideas to enhance their knowledge by presenting their scientific projects and sharing the scientific knowledge they have acquired so far. Our students mentioned that the social sciences festival provided them with a different perspective from a scientific point of view.

  • With the project of Bartın University (BARU) supported by TÜBİTAK, the husk material that emerges after the harvest of hazelnuts will be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.

  • A training was organized in our faculty within the scope of “TÜBİTAK 2209-A–B- University Students Research Projects Support Program”.
