The Academic Council Meeting of Our Faculty for the 2023-2024 Academic Year was held.

Our Faculty's Academic Council Meeting for the 2023-2024 Academic Year was held with intense participation under the chairmanship of our Rector, Prof. Dr. Orhan UZUN, on February 16, 2023.

 

The meeting started with a presentation by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Birsen DURKAYA, which included an analysis of the current situation of our faculty, scientific performance data, and evaluations for the year 2023. At the end of the presentation, Dean DURKAYA said, 'I remember with mercy Prof. Dr. Zafer KAYA, a faculty member of the Department of Forestry Engineering, who passed away in March 2023.'

 

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Orhan UZUN, said, 'The Faculty of Forestry is progressing towards development like our university. The initiation of accreditation processes in all programs of the faculty is a significant development. Research, projects, and publications in the Faculty of Forestry need to continue increasing sustainably.'

 

Dean Prof. Dr. Birsen DURKAYA said, 'With the contributions of our academic and administrative human resources, we continue to progress scientifically in national and international platforms both through our publications and externally funded projects. I thank our Rector, Prof. Dr. Orhan UZUN, who contributes to our faculty in every aspect and does not withhold his support.'"

  • As part of the courses Dendrometry and Principles of Forest Management in our Department of Forestry Engineering, field applications were conducted.

  • Our Faculty Students were Congratulated with TUBITAK 2209 University Students Research Projects Success Appreciation Certificates.

  • Our Faculty Graduates and Students were brought together by the Graduate Relations Commission on December 14, 2023.
