TÜBİTAK 2209-A Celebration Event was Held in Our Faculty.

Our faculty organized a celebration event within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Student Research Projects Support Program. Our university's Rector Prof. Dr. Mr. Orhan UZUN also attended the event, which was also attended by our academic staff and students.

The opening speech of the event was made by our faculty's Dean Prof. Dr. Mr. Birsen DURKAYA. Dean DURKAYA emphasized the critical role that projects play in the academic and scientific development of students in his speech and stated that such support is of great importance in developing the talents of young researchers, encouraging scientific thought, and contributing to the research culture of our university. Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan UZUN drew attention to the contributions of the projects to the scientific world in his speech and emphasized the importance of students benefiting both themselves and society by making the most efficient use of these opportunities.

At the event, certificates of appreciation were proudly presented to our faculty students whose projects were supported in the second semester of 2023 by their advisors who guided them. This presentation was made to celebrate the importance and success of the projects carried out by the students and is also an indication of the dedication and efforts they show in their academic studies.

In the event held in a warm and friendly environment with refreshments prepared by our faculty members, the participants had the opportunity to experience enjoyable moments where both the projects were introduced, and social interaction was provided. This friendly atmosphere increased the interaction between students and academics, strengthening both the academic and social ties of the students.

  • With the project of Bartın Forestry Faculty supported by TÜBİTAK, innovative solutions will be presented to produce sustainable and ecologically balanced boards.

  • With the project of Bartın University (BARU) supported by TÜBİTAK, the husk material that emerges after the harvest of hazelnuts will be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
